Journey down the Medlock

So the river Medlock contains the only underground action I ever got to see in Manchester. Alas, I was a latecomer.

Starting with the Medlock Culvert running under Manchester City Stadium. This place is massive! Also did it in shoes. Always a plus.

Onwards! Thus began an ridiculous 2-3 mile wade through rockdeath river bed, into town in waders 4 sizes too small for me. Plenty of fun. I also missed an unchartered CSO on the way. Bollocks.
